Auto Expo 2018: Maruti Suzuki unveils ConceptFutureS

NEW DELHI: Two years after it launched the Vitara Brezza cementing its position in the compact SUV category, Maruti Suzuki unveiled the ConceptFutureS at the Auto Expo 2018 to deliver to the rising demand for "compact cars" in India.

"Compact is the natural choice of India’s car customers. It is an answer to concerns of congestion and emission," managing director at Maruti Suzuki said speaking at the Auto Expo 2018 being held in the northern capital region of Delhi.




Ayukawa said that nearly 75% of passenger vehicles bought in India are small and compact vehicles, including the country in the global top three in this segment and to the fourth largest overall.

The car will feature in the compact car space but has features of the sports utility vehicle (SUV).
