Auto components maker Bosch announces five no-production days

On Monday, Bosch’s stock lost 0.15% to close at Rs 15,140.95 per share on the NSE.

MUMBAI: Auto components major Bosch, which also features on the NIFTY Auto Index, announced five days of production cut at its plant in Tamil Nadu to adjust for shrinking demand amidst the ongoing slowdown in the auto industry.

“With a view to adjust production to meet the demand for products and to avoid unnecessary build-up of inventory, it is proposed to suspend all manufacturing operations at the Company's Gangaikondan plant in Tamil Nadu from July 23, 2019 to July 27, 2019,” the company said in an exchange filing dated July 20.

On Monday, Bosch’s stock lost 0.15% to close at Rs 15,140.95 per share on the NSE.
