Ashok Leyland deepens Gujarat presence with seventh outlet

CHENNAI: As part of efforts to bolster its presence in western and northern parts of the country, Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland today inaugurated its seventh outlet in Gujarat.

"Gujarat is a very important hub for transport and logistics, with engineering, power and cement industries, and our new dealership will enhance our presence and increase our footprint in the region", Ashok Leyland Managing Director, Vinod K Dasari said.

Ashok Leyland currently has over 500 touch points and 5,000 outlets for spare parts under Leyparts brand across the country, the Chennai-based company said in a statement.

The new dealership - Gulf Ashley Motors - in Gandhidham, Gujarat, would be of 3S facility, it said.
