Vinay Jaising is a CFA Charterholder and holds double Master’s degrees in Finance and Science. He has over 29 years of experience in the Indian equity markets. Before pursuing his MMS, he worked as an engineer at Tata Honeywell for 3 years. Jaising began his career at JM Financial in 1995 after being recruited from business school and later transitioned to Morgan Stanley through a partnership, where he served for over two decades, including a decade as Managing Director. During his tenure, his primary responsibility involved leading Asian Oil and Gas and Indian Telecoms Research. He consistently led in most polls for India and his team ranked No. 1 for multiple years. Before joining ASK Private Wealth, Jaising worked with JM Financial as the Principal Officer of their PMS and Co CIO for almost 4 years. He helped set up their team, size up their AUMS and generate strong performance. Jaising also worked with ENAM AMC, where he served as the Portfolio Manager for their EIDEA platform PMS from October 2019 onwards. At ENAM, products managed by him had AUM of over $250 million, invested by the top Ultra HNIs of India. During his tenure, fund performance improved significantly, elevating their ranking from the 4th quartile to the top quartile. He was also a key member of the core team responsible for managing over $3 billion in assets under management, which included funds from global pension funds. He also advised the Kotak Optimus Platform since its inception (December 2019), which has beaten the Nifty 50 handsomely, during his tenure. He was also the Head of Overall Research, managing an 11-member team.
