Wipro strikes a deal with US SEC
Wipro is learnt to be nearing a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on the private investigation that the latter began last year on the appropriateness of certain accounting entries and the independence of Wipro's auditors, KPMG India. Sources said that Wipro has agreed to pay $10 million to the market regulator in the matter.
