Q1 earnings in line with estimates: ONGC
ONGC, the country's largest oil and gas explorer, posted a net profit of Rs 5,460 crore the quarter ended June 2015, up from Rs 4,782 crore a year earlier.The net realisation has risen to $58.92 a barrel from $47.15 in the year ago period. While the results were below street estimates, ONGC CMD Dinesh K Sarraf tells ET Now that the company is happy with the 14% rise in PAT.
