Bharti Airtel Q3 profit surges despite Africa worry
Bharti Airtel, India's largest telecom operator, beat estimates as third-quarter net profit more than doubled with subscribers using more of the company's pricier data packs while making more voice calls although losses in Africa continued to be a drag. Consolidated profit rose to Rs 1,436 crore for the three months ended December 31 from Rs 610.2 crore.
