Q1 CAD narrows to 1.7% of GDP versus 4.8% YoY
The Current Account Deficit (CAD) for the first quarter of the current financial year narrowed to 1.7% of GDP versus 4.8% YoY. The CAD for the first quarter stood at $7.8 billion versus $21.8 billion YoY. This is however higher than the 0.2% CAD that was recorded in the last quarter of FY14.
