Finance Commission backs non-priority sector divestment
According to sources, the 14th Finance Commission that submitted its report to the President last week, has recommended that the government should follow divestment in non-priority sectors. It has said that the government should be careful in divestment in priority sectors like Railways, defence and agriculture.
