Sensex on a strong footing, Nifty holds 7600
The S&P BSE Sensex came off from its intraday high of 25550.72 hit in morning trade on Monday, but was still trading with a positive bias led by gains in Infosys, M&M, Tata Motors, HDFC and L&T.
