Sensex nosedives 300 pts on Mauritius tax treaty amendments
The S&P BSE Sensex plunged over 300 points in morning trade after the government announced amendments to its Double Tax Avoidance Convention with Mauritius. The Nifty50 slipped over 100 points and slipped below its crucial psychological support level of 7800, weighed down by realty, power, oil & gas, auto, and banking stocks.
