Sensex, Nifty50 start on a flat note
The S&P BSE Sensex started on a flat note but with a positive bias on Wednesday, led by gains in L&T, ITC, HDFC, Axis Bank, and Tata Motors. The Nifty50 was trading above its crucial level of 8,700 supported by gains in realty, power, metal, consumer durable, capital goods, and auto stocks.
