Sensex, Nifty open flat; Shriram EPC surges over 9%
The domestic equity market opened on a flat note on Thursday following mixed global cues. Benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 25 points, or 0.08 per cent, up at 31,271.36 around 9.30 am (IST), while NSE Nifty index was up 9.95 points, or 0.10 per cent, up at 9,647 at around the same time.
