Sensex hits 31,300 for first time, Nifty too at record high
Sensex climbed over 170 points to hit 31,300 for the first time ever . Nifty50 zipped past 9650 level to hit a fresh all-time high of 9,673.50. Tata Motors surged 4 per cent, while Bajaj Auto fell 2 per cent in the opening trade.
