Sensex ends on a flat note; metals, banks decline
The S&P BSE Sensex ended on a flat-to-negative note as bulls lacked charge after a sharp rise in previous session. The 30-share index ended at 26,616.36, down 9.96 points or 0.04 per cent. The Nifty closed at 7,958.90, down 9.95 points or 0.12 per cent.
