Sensex ends marginally higher after 200-pt rally

The S&P BSE Sensex closed 63 points higher at 29,648, just 33 points away from record close. The headline index of BSE, which opened at 29,755 against the previous close of 29,585, hit an intraday high and low of 29,824 and 29,601, respectively. On similar lines, the broader Nifty50 index of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed 6 points higher at 9,160.
