Sensex ends above 27,400; power, banks, pharma gain
The S&P BSE Sensex ended a choppy session on a flat-to-positive note as investors kept positions light ahead of New Year holiday. The 30-share index ended at 27,403.54, up 7.81 points or 0.03 per cent. The Nifty ended at 8,248.25, up 1.95 points or 0.02 per cent.
