Sensex ends 244 points down, below 29,000
The S&P BSE Sensex slipped as much as 322.63 points in the closing trade, which took the index below its crucial level of 29000, led by losses in Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Infosys, HDFC, and Sun Pharma.
