Sensex ends 135 points down, Nifty holds 8,500
The 30-share BSE Sensex ended the day down 134.67 points, at 28,101.72 amid fears that the ongoing session of the Parliament may not be fruitful as far as reforms are concerned. The broader 50-share Nifty index fell 39 points, but managed to hold on to its psychological level of 8,500. The index settled the day at 8525.6.
