Sensex ends 102 points higher; Nifty50 tops 8,700
The S&P BSE Sensex close above its crucial psychological level of 28,000. The benchmark index opened at 28,156 against the previous day’s close of 28,077, hit an intraday high of 28,256 and low of 28,075, before closing 102 points higher at 28,179.
