Sensex down 427 points, falls 945 points in a week
The Sensex slipped by 427 points after data released a day earlier showed that consumer inflation has edged up, thus raising concerns about rate cuts. However, on a weekly basis, the benchmark index recorded a fall of 945 points or 3.2 per cent from its closing value of 29,448.95 recorded on March 5, 2015.
