Sensex cracks 255 points, Nifty below 8,620
The Sensex opened at 28,050.55 against the previous close of 28,091.42, hitting an intraday high of 28,050.55. It hit a low of 27,759.56, slipping below its crucial psychological level of 28,000, to end the day at 27,836.51, down 255 points. On similar lines, Nifty50 closed at 8,615.25, down 76.05 points.
