Sensex closes at 24,121.74, Nifty ends at 7,203
The Nifty retreated over 360 points from its all-time high but closed comfortably in the positive terrain near 7,600 on the result day of 16th Lok Sabha elections. The 50-share index ended at 7,203.00, up 79.85 points or 1.12 per cent. The S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,121.74, up 216.14 points or 0.90 per cent.
