Sensex closes above 27K, Nifty ends at 8,177
Markets gained for the sixth straight session to hit their highest levels in over six weeks led by oil and auto shares. The 30-share Sensex provisionally ended up 103 points at 27,036 and the 50-share Nifty ended up 30 points at 8,177.
