Market wrap: Nifty reclaims 8500 level

Benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 advanced nearly 0.50 per cent in a volatile trading session following firm global cues amid selective buying on the bluechip counters. The 30-share index closed 132.15 points, or 0.48 per cent, higher at 27,591, while the 50-share Nifty index settled 46.50 points, or 0.55 per cent, up at 8,543.
