Market open: Sensex recoups losses, Nifty nears 8,650
The S&P BSE Sensex managed to recoup losses and turned positive in morning trade, led by gains in Axis Bank, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Bank, and Reliance Industries. The Nifty50 was trading near its crucial level of 8,650 supported by gains in realty, power, metal, capital goods, banks and auto stocks.
