Budget impact: Sensex sinks 600 points, marginally recovers

BSE Sensex recovered almost 850 points from the day's low of 23,083.18. The index was trading about 150 points higher at 23,300. The S&P BSE Sensex had plunged over 600 points in afternoon trade pushing the index to fresh 52-week low after the Finance Minster said that the government is committed to implementing GAAR from April 1, 2017.
