Legitimate tax demands can’t be termed ‘tax terrorism’: FM
Peeved over foreign investors' complaints, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said every legitimate tax demand does not mean 'tax terrorism'. This remark comes at a time when the tax authorities have issued notices to about 100 foreign portfolio Investors with a demand to pay around Rs 60,000 crore as Minimum Alternative Tax (MAT).
