Meryl Streep criticises Donald Trump in her acceptance speech
One of Hollywood's most iconic actresses Meryl Streep was honoured with the prestigious Cecil B. Demille Award. The actress had a strong point to make as she accepted the trophy. In her six-minute acceptance speech, Streep hinted at President-Elect Donald Trump and called him out for mocking a reporter in 2015. Her speech was met with a rousing applause.
