Tata Motors plans to double revenue from defence deals
Betting big on the sector, Tata Motors has said that its defence order book stands at Rs 1,500 crore. A Tata Motors executive said that there is a "definite shift" in the new government's policy towards defence procurement. The company also said it has bagged an order worth over Rs 900 crore to supply 1,200 multi-axle trucks to the Indian Army.
