IndiGo spreads wings, plans fleet of 500 planes
Aggressively pursuing its expansion plans, the low-cost carrier is placing an order of 80 new planes. This comes on the back of the order for 250 planes placed in October 2014. The airline feels it has a better chance of expanding now that SpiceJet is floundering and other low-cost carriers are too small in comparison.
