December sees sharp spike in manufacturing
Most manufacturers ended the year on a high note, with factory output rising to the highest in 2 years in December 2014. Manufacturing PMI for December 2014 rose to 54.4 against 53.3 in the previous month. Similarly, the index for new orders rose to 57.9 against 56.2 in the previous month.
