Aviation: 5/20 rule for nod to fly abroad to be scrapped?

The Aviation Minister has called a meeting of all stakeholders where the proposal to scrap the archaic rule that requires Indian airliners to have 5 years of operations and 20 planes before they can seek permission to fly abroad. The rule will hugely benefit new airlines like AirAsia and Vistara.
