Crude prices surge; outlook by Edelweiss Fin Services
Oil steadied around its 2016 high, supported by expectations of a production freeze by major exporters and dollar weakness that have pushed prices towards a fourth straight weekly gain. Brent crude's front-month contract LCOc1 touched $41.71 a barrel -- its highest this year -- in early trading and was down 7 cents at $41.47 by 1005 GMT.
