Commodity check: Gold gains, crude prices slip
Gold prices firmed up at the domestic bullion market due to increased buying from jewellery stockists as well as retail consumers supported by festive season demand. While, Oil prices eased in Asia as the US dollar strengthened while dealers sat on the sidelines due to a dearth of trading cues, analysts said.
