Railway Budget 2015: Freight rates to be hiked from April 1
The Railway Minister announced a slew of measures to develop freight corridors and facilities to move freight faster. Prabhu promised to increase the speed along particular railway corridors so that travel between urban centres was raised significantly. So a journey from Delhi to Mumbai or Delhi to Kolkata would be speeded up.
