Freight hike could be inflationary, says India Inc
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu announced hiking of freight rates on coal, iron ore and steel from April 1 to help fund an expansion of the Railways well-worn network. The move has spooked the markets and India Inc says this could impact the industry and would also lead to inflationary pressures.
