SC lifts curbs on registration of large diesel vehicles in Delhi, NCR
The Supreme Court lifted its ban on the registration of large diesel-powered passenger vehicles in the National Capital Region. The decision came after auto makers such as Mercedes-Benz and Toyota offered to pay a 1% environment protection charge on every car registered in Delhi and its satellite cities.
