Yogini Ekadashi Vrat Katha (yogini ekadashi mein kis raja ka ullekh hai)

According to the Padma Purana, Yogini Ekadashi is associated with the story of Hemamali, a gardener who served Kubera, the king of wealth. Hemamali neglected his duties because he was deeply attached to his wife and failed to deliver flowers meant for Lord Shiva's worship.

Angered by this negligence, Kubera cursed Hemamali with leprosy and banished him from his kingdom. After years of suffering, Hemamali met the sage Markandeya, who advised him to observe the Yogini Ekadashi fast with complete devotion.

Hemamali faithfully observed the vrat and worshipped Lord Vishnu. As a result, he was freed from the curse, regained his health, and attained peace and prosperity. The story highlights the transformative power of repentance, devotion, and sincere observance of Yogini Ekadashi.
