Shehzada box office collection: Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon-starrer mints Rs 12 crore

Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, has managed to mint just Rs 12 crore in two days. The movie was released on February 17 in theatres. The Rohit Dhawan-directorial earned Rs 7 crore at the box office on day one of its release. The movie received mixed reviews and was unable to keep the audience hooked to their seats. The movie also faced competition from Pathaan, running in theatres since January 25. Besides, it also had to compete with Peyton Reed-directed "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" and Venky Atluri-directed 'Vaathi' which released on the same day as 'Shehzada'.

'Shehzada' is a remake of the popular and hit Telugu movie of 2020 "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" starring Allu Arjun. Kartik Aaryan made a comeback to Bollywood with Shehzada after "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" which was released in May 2022.




Kartik plays the role of Bantu in the movie, who suffers neglect and lack of love from his father as a child and later comes to know about his biological parents who are millionaires. He then decides to protect them without revealing his identity. Besides Kartik and Kriti, the movie also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles.
