Dr Anthony Fauci’s final press briefing at White House as NIAID’s outgoing director witnesses chaotic scenes
Dr Anthony Fauci held his last press conference as the outgoing director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID). However, when he was to take questions, there were chaotic scenes with a reporter shouting.

A reporter, Diana Glebova of the Daily Caller, had been asking about Covid-19's origins. She was not called on. She was supported by her colleague Simon Ateba, the chief White House correspondent for Today News Africa, who argued that she was asking a valid question. However, he was also interrupted by Jean-Pierre, and he accused her of playing favourites. She continued to call on other reporters.
Jean-Pierre has been accused of ignoring reporters earlier and has gotten into arguments with reporters, who shout out questions when their colleagues are called upon.
