A video has gone viral across social media platforms showing Ranbir Kapoor bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha along with his mother and veteran actor Neetu Kapoor. In the video, you can see Ranbir Kapoor doing aarti of the Ganesha idol in preparation for the Ganpati Visarjan with his mother at his side.

In the viral video taken by a fan, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants in the scene. Also, the cap he was wearing completed his look. While his mother Neetu Kapoor, the Amar Akbar Anthony actor performed the aarti wearing a royal blue kurta on Sunday.

A highly awaited movie by Ranbir Kapoor, Brahmastra is going to be released soon and will star Amitabh Bacchan, Alia Bhat, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Also, there’s a guest appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. The movie is the first part of a trilogy that is scheduled to hit the theatres in four languages- Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil on September 9. The movie is set in ‘Astraverse’, its cinematic universe.

As for Neetu Kapoor, she was part of the film JugJugg Jeeyo which was released on June 24 this year and was a success. The family drama film starred Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Prajakta Koli, and Maniesh Paul.
