Entrepreneurship may seem like an exciting opportunity, but can be a 'lonely journey'.

On Monday, Harsh Mariwala dedicated a special LinkedIn post to all his peers who helped him along the way.

The Marico Chairman said he would meet with his group of peers every week and discuss their triumphs and learnings, and helped him through his difficulties and failures.

"Only someone who has been in your shoes can truly understand and guide you," he wrote in his post.

Despite being a lone soldier on his career path, the FMCG boss also thanked his friends and family members who stood by him and supported him throughout his journey.

During the weekend, Mariwala spent his Sunday sharing insights about entrepreneurship on Twitter.

Empathetic towards entrepreneurs, the 72-year-old shared his quick guide that will help businessmen overcome several challenges.

The businessman said that it is crucial for the new-age founders to be receptive to feedback. "Listen to all stakeholders... develop grit," he mentioned in his list.

He stressed on the need for hiring an individual who is better than the founder himself as it can help him/her innovate better. Similarly, seeking guidance from someone more experienced can also help in the developmental growth of an entrepreneur.
