'Sharmaji Namkeen' trailer out: Ranbir Kapoor thanks Paresh Rawal for completing dad Rishi Kapoor's last film
Rawal said that this movie was his special tribute to the late actor.

After his demise, veteran actor Paresh Rawal stepped in to complete Kapoor's last film. The trailer shows both the actors playing the same character.
The movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video on March 31.

In her caption, the 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' star said that this movie will always be close to her heart. "I witnessed the excitement when he started the movie and how keen he was to complete it after the treatment," she wrote.
In the one-and-a-half-minute-long emotional video, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor revealed that this movie was very special to him, not because it's his father's last film, but also because the late actor believed in the story.
The 'Sanju' star said that Kapoor Sr, a man so full of life and positivity, wanted to complete the film at all costs despite his health deteriorating. "But life had other plans. You may have heard the phrase ‘the show must go on’, but I saw my father live this life," he wrote.
"It was a tough time for all of us. That's when Paresh Rawal stepped in and helped us finish the film," he said.
Humbled by the words of appreciation, Rawal said that this was his special tribute to the late actor.
