SpiceJet offers around Rs 300 crore more to Maran as final settlement

New Delhi: SpiceJet on Thursday offered in the Supreme Court to pay Rs 270 crore in cash and another Rs 22 crore by way of a full and final settlement to its former promoter Kalanithi Maran. SpiceJet said has already paid '308 crore in cash out of Rs 600 crore due to Maran. It had also given bank guarantees of Rs 270 crore. A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice of India N V Ramana asked Maran to consider the offer and get back to it by Monday.
