Nick Jonas returns to social media after 2-week hiatus, PeeCee opens up about Insta's name-change fiasco

Singer-actor Nick Jonas is back on social media after a nearly 15-day long hiatus.

On Friday, the 29-year-old singer took to Twitter to reveal that he was on an 'unintentionally' break from social media.

The two-week long hiatus helped him be present in the moment, and he informed me that it felt great.


"Didn't plan this way by any means... Hope you've all been doing really well," he wrote.


The 'Jumanji' star's last social media post was on January 1 on Instagram and the micro-blogging site. He had shared an adorable picture of the intimate New Year celebration he had with his actress-wife Priyanka Chopra and friends.

Last year, Jonas and Chopra's busy work schedule forced the couple into a long-distance relationship. The actress was frequently away from her Los Angeles home due to her work commitments. Speculations about a split started doing the round, but they quashed down all rumours with their affectionate social media posts and comments.

During her Vanity Fair interview, the 39-year-old actress also opened up about the scrutiny that followed after she dropped her husband's last name from her Instagram handle last year. The Vanity Fair has featured Chopra on its February cover.

Calling it 'a professional hazard', the global icon said that people give social media a lot more credence in real life than it really needs.

The duo got married in a Christian and Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace in December 2018. Later, the couple also hosted two receptions in Delhi and Mumbai.
