Kratika Jain shares the books she has read during the lockdown and the lessons they have taught her.
Being a part of a startup, it’s important to be aware of the journey of established people to be able to use their experience and grow feels Kratika Jain, co-founder, Pataa Navigation.

The books that caught her attention during lockdown are 'Unfinished' by Priyanka Chopra and 'Shoe Dog' by Phil Knight.

"Both these books have given some tremendous lessons that I would like to keep with me throughout the journey of my life (in business, as well as personal life). Both memories teach how to build your dream from scratch with grit, determination, patience and how to provide solutions to real life problems," she says.

Jain prefers to read twice a day. These are her power naps of the day. "I do believe that I am an avid reader and like to finish books at my own pace. I like to take my time to understand the scenarios and logics behind every situation," she says.

Reading is definitely a way to destress. It is, for her, the most looked forward part of her day.

"It provides me with a sense of satisfaction, a way to slow down and breathe. Technology has advanced from paper books to kindles and such changes have given access to many new opportunities. E-books are one such blessing of these advancements. Though whenever I get the opportunity to feel the paper books, the feeling has no replacement," Jain says.

The actress said she took around a year-and-a-half to carefully create the products. "I saw a gap in the market for affordable, clean and sustainable haircare, especially at an affordable price point," she wrote on social media.

In an attempt to limit the amount of new plastic that ends up in landfills and oceans, The Anomaly Haircare’s packaging team stripped away all unnecessary packaging and invested more in the formulas.
