Eyeing the upcoming assembly election, Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday gave ex-post facto approval for jobs to 104 legal heirs of farmers and labourers who died during the ongoing agitation against the farm laws.

Singh also directed the concerned departments to give further relaxations, if needed, to ensure that the kin of all such deceased protestors are provided employment.
