Unlock 1.0 update: Harsh Mariwala says Kaya Clinic is back, boasts its safety measures

Harsh Mariwala said that Kaya Clinic was taking necessary precautions as the country begins to 'unlock' in its first phase.
NEW DELHI: After the partial end of over 60-day lockdown in India following the coronavirus pandemic, people have started returning to their grooming regimen, while keeping a strict check on social distancing norms. The wellness industry is also ensuring necessary precautions as the country begins to 'unlock' in its first phase.

Harsh Mariwala, who founded Kaya Clinic in 2003, was proud to announce the return of the skin and hair care provider. The 69-year-old Marico CEO took to Twitter to share a video, mentioning safety and protection measures undertaken by Kaya.




In the one-minute-22-second-long video, two customers Navya and Mona share their experience of the beauty clinic's service post-lockdown. They said that they felt safe to be back at Kaya knowing that they won't have to compromise their safety.

When customers arrive for their treatment, they are given sanitiser and shoe-covers. They are asked to fill in form that comprise of their contact, health updates and travel history, among others details. The service room is sanistised, and the therapist has a double-layer cover on.
