Sundar Pichai is the most global Indian; SBI most patriotic brand, shows survey

Priyanka Chopra follows at number 2, while economist, Amartya Sen is at the third spot.

Ahead of Independence Day, YouGov Omnibus which is an international data and analytics group released a survey. Here are some of the results.

International data-analytics group, YouGov Omnibus collected online data from among 1,193 respondents in India a week ago using YouGov’s panel of an online representation of India. The surveyed people said, Google CEO, Sundar Pichai is the most global Indian followed by former Miss World and actress-singer, Priyanka Chopra.

The actress won the People's Choice Award for Favourite Actress in a New TV Series for her role - the first South Asian actress to do so.

Sundar Pichai, born Pichai Sundararajan in 1972, grew up in Madras, now Chennai, in a two-room house. He went on to complete his graduation from IIT-Kharagpur before heading to foreign shores to pursue a Master's in Science from Stanford, and following that up with an MBA from the Wharton Business School
